We're all capable of violence. It's our capability to hold it in check that is the true achievement.

There was a six year old boy here in GA. He got raped and tourted by A whole family 3 people. I watched cnn while my stomach turned and my eyes envisioned that boy screaming for mercy....They killed him and dumped him on the side of the road..
Am I capable of violence... Thinking about kids getting hurt makes me capable of some very sick twisted S**T, to pay them back.

I do taekwondo, so I am capable of vilonce, attacking and fighting but I'd only use it in self defence if there was no other way of avoiding conflict.
(Did you know once you have a black belt in a martial art you have to register with the police as you are potentially dangerous, a threat to them and a lethal weapon! I found that out the other day.)

Capable, yes. Prone to it, no. I'll fight when it's necessary only. And I keep my temper well in check. I don't believe there is anyone who isn't at least capable of violence.

I haven't been in years. But a few days ago I was pushed to my very limit ! Someone verbally assaulted my sister who has early onset Alzheimer's and he knows it. It took everything I had in my being not to slap him as hard as I could. She was writing her new group home address for me and he took the pen from her hand without asking and said I want that, then walked away with MY pen.
