Hiya! I agree with the other person you know who says that Playtex gentle glide slip's out! I have had this happen with those. For some reason they just don't work with me. While they may work for you, your mom and for some, they sure don't me.

I too am a Tampax Pearl kinda girl =)

And I prefer a natural vaginal birth. A natural birth is natural, what was intended, as a C-section is major surgrey. To me there isn't anything natural about a c-section. But I am greatful that we have C-sections now for a last resort in emergency cases.

As far as the tampon goes, everyone is different. Different tampns expand in different ways, and you just have to find what fits best for you. I personally like plain old plastic applicator kotex tampons.

On the childbirth thing. That is your personal choice too. Depends on if you want a shorter period of pain right when it happens or several days of pain after.

Natural is best for the baby. You can always get an epidural to take the edge off. after ther eis a little discomfort, but after the birth is over, the pain pretty much is too.

C-Section is of course the option in emergent situations, but more and more people are optiong that way out. You will have a pretty good incision and quite a bit of pain for several days afterward.

I don't like tampons. I use 'instead'. I found that tampons always slid out on me and the string irritated me. They are way more comfortable and you can have mess free intercourse with one in. Here's the link......... http://softcup.com/ :)

I have only experienced natural child birth. The first time hurt a lot ( I didn't walk enough during my pregnancy and the baby didn't turn). The second time I only had one painful contraction. The delivery was pain free (no drugs).

The thing that makes me leery about choosing a c-section is how invasive the surgery is. Muscles are being cut and your body opened up. I would only recommend a c-section if a doctor said it was necessary. :)

Tampax pearl - It's plastic, and it's got a little braided part in the cord that acts as a "Back-up" for those...you know...situations.

Natural birth. Women have been doing it for thousands of years, may as well go the old fashioned way.

1) tampax pearls, i love them. since i started using them they have been the only brand i use. they are so comfy and you'll have no trouble trying to put them in. i never had a leak with tampax pearls

2) i have never been pregnant and i don't want kids so i don't plan on ever being pregnant but if i had to i would want to have natural birth.

tampons ..I use the one with a cardboard applicator the plastic ones hurt when I put them in ...and I use the ones that r on sale. =)
As for childbirth ...I've had 3 babies and all where vag and all 3 where different but I would think that yeah a c-section would be less painful at the moment of birth but the pain of the c-section will be with you for weeks after. A vag birth once the babies out the pains gone.

1. It is a personal preference...choose what works well for you. Contrary to popular belief not all womenm are made exactly the same inside so ...you just have to try a few and find your personal favorite.

2. Natural birth is always preferable to surgery. No abdominal incision to deal with, but again it depends on how your body is made and if it would be contraindicated to your health to have a child by natural methods.

I've had both c-section and v-back (fancy term for natural birth
after c-section). I preferred the natural birth. You can still be medicated so it don't hurt as bad, but the recovery time is waaaaay less.
