sum of 32 times 10.
This is a Mathematical EXPRESSION, but it does NOT show [its] Symbols.
Possibilities to Solve:
A If parentheses are around (the sum of 32) times 10, and the individual numbers, 3 and 2 added, then 5 multiply 10, Answer is 50.
B If parentheses are around sum of (32 times10), after multiply, i.e. 320, then add 3 and 2 and 0, the sum Answer is 5.

the sum of 32 times 10 is impossible but the PRODUCT of 32 times 10 is possible. Btw, 32 times 10 is 320 and 42 is the sum of 32 + 10

32*10=320. It's called a product when you multiply. A sum is what you get when you add.

the sum of 32 times 10 is impossible! SUM means addition and TIMES implies multiplication, so this question makes no sense at all.

Whenever you multiply something, the answer is called the product. That's okay though. The answer is 320. When you multiply by 10, just move the imaginary decimal over. (32.0 goes to 320.)
