I do almost all of my deposits through ATMs. It depends on it your bank has fees for ATM deposits, or if they don't let that money become available to you immediately. If you need that money right away, I would say no.

Some banks hold checks longer if they are deposited via ATM. It seems sort of silly to make such small deposits. But hey, every penny counts, maybe you've got the right idea!!!

if you are depositing in your bank's ATM, normally yes. it depends on your bank. some banks charge for deposits over a certain limit. check with your bank to make sure.
