And if so, how? I've heard that you can. But your body sheads the uterine lining during your cycle. So what could a fertilized egg attach to if there's no lining?

eggs are fertilized high in the fallopian tube. It takes about 10 days for the egg to travel to the uterus, and then it implants. so if you have sex during your period, and the sperm goes up and fertilizes an egg, your body has time to rebuild the uterine lining.

there are statistics for everything. It is possible to get pregnant if you have sex during your period. It is very rare though. I used the natural method for four years and it worked fine. then we started trying again and i got pregnant with three months of trying halfheartedly

The sperm can live for a while, at least a couple of days. And also, the lining is important, but as long as the egg can latch on to the side of your uterus that is all that is temporarily needed. Some women even get light periods in the first month after they get pregnant.

The debate on whether or not a woman can get pregnant during her period has been going on for decades now. Just like every woman is different, so are her hormonal balances and hence her menstrual cycle. Though there are generalities on which some ground basics of menstruation and pregnancy can be formed, but eventually it all boils down to individual physiology.

So, yes, you can get pregnant during your periods.

There is a definite chance that any woman can get pregnant during her periods. Though the chances of pregnancy during periods are usually low during periods, they exist for all women. During periods, the chances of pregnancy are comparatively lower at the onset of a woman's period and increase just after her periods. The truth is that there is no predictable time during the month when the risk of pregnancy can be said to be absent. Lets understand how and when this can happen

It is RARE for women to get pregnant while on their period IF they have a normal cycle. Women that do not have a normal cycle can get pregnant anytime because they don't know when they are ovulating. Also, some women have spotting while ovulating, so they think they are on their period, and they get pregnant.

It's because sperm can survive for awhile (not sure the exact amount of time) so if you are not bleeding very heavy or it's at the end of the cycle there's a chance. But most women don't.... Hope this helps!!

Not really.....If you have sex during your period, the sperm might live long enough to fertilize an egg released just after your period ends....But you won't release an egg while having a period.

IT IS 100% POSSIBLE! It's in the health books, u r most likely to get pregnant during ur period. I've never heard about the shedding of the lining... but if there was nothing there.... the stuff outside ur uterine would get inside since there'd b a hole ;)
