What team wouldnt want him? They can persue him but have to give up two first round pick if they want him. And Asante Samuel wants to stay a Patriot a long term deal will be worked out. They wouldnt have to give up andre dyson as well only 2 first round picks that the rule since he was franchise tagged. A tradewould never happen because its within the same division. The only way is if the Jets get him next year in free agency if he doesnt sign with us or give up two first round picks for him now.

If I have been a widespread supervisor i does no longer touch him. Is he an elite corner yeah, is he great being left on an island sure, and albeit hat's the place he belongs. Asante Samuel is a primary occasion of a participant being greater than the group, and if i'm calling the pictures there is not any way i'm inviting this poison pill into my locker room era. i do no longer care if this guy makes 20 interceptions a twelve months he's only no longer a reliable teammate. That being reported look for the Jets to attempt like hell to snatch him. The Saints may be a reliable sleeper %. too.

with the way Belichik is angry with Mangini he would probably rather trade Samuel to someone else than the Jets, remember all the tampering the Jets did with Branch? as James G said it is the GM that make the decisions, but the tampering with Branch was also done by the GM of hte Jets under the instrucitons of Mangini, so there is bad blood between the GMs too

now i don't think the Jets have 2 first round picks to give (unless you mean 1 in 2007 and 1 in 2008)

but maybe the jets should give up andre dyson, justin miller and Vilma, and 2 second round picks (one this year and one next year). if i was Belichick i'd want to extort so much out of that defense just to screw up as much of their defense as possible

The Pats will not trade Samuel to the Jets because of the bad blood between Bill Belicheck and Eric Mangenius (Yes I know the GM's make the trades but the GM listens to the coach most of the time) it would have to be severely one sided for the pats to play ball. Two first round picks is just too much.

Jets are in a prime postion because Samuel wants out, he said if he doesnt get a long term deal he will sit out, kind of like Deion Branch situation, Patriots wont get a lot for Samuel because other teams know they are desperate to trade him. I think 2nd round pick tops.

First off.... Pats are the most over rated team..... 3 SBs? big deal... but i'm going to get off that subject before you bandwagoners start to rant.

Second, why go for him? they releases TY LAW!!! TY FRIGGIN LAW!!! after a 10 INT season..... they'll just release him as well.. sooo... as much as i like the jets.. would be stupid
