does anyone know where I can buy small (1") clear class discs? You can purchase them at Michaels Craft stores but they are mirrorred. Thank you

www.firemountaingems.com has just about anything you'd be looking for in beading supplies. Go check it out. It's a wholesaler, but they have no minimum. You'll get a better price if you get other friends to also buy supplies at the same time and combine your orders.

If you don't mind that they clear acrylic instead of glass, you can find them at Tap Plastics online, or probably at any local plastics store (look in the yellow pages).
Or you could buy the mirrored ones, then perhaps remove the mirror part. One way would be to use a toilet bowl cleaner ... it works really quickly, but it has an acid in it so use precautions to prevent contact with skin, eyes, etc.

Try a bead supplier or stained glass supplies.
Also-glass blower.
