One of my friends just got accepted into a Dental Hygiene program. She recieved a DUI and consumption a few years ago. Will that affect her from getting a Dental hygienist license? If so what states?

I don't think so but it probably depends on her employer. It's the commercial drivers (ups drivers, peapod drivers, truck drivers and bus drivers) who have to really worry about traffic violations since it will effect their commercial license (livelihood).

I dont see how it would as long as she has done all the state requirements and paid the fines in order to get her license back.

Although some employers will be picky on who they hire regardless
