Most definitely. My cat works part-time; granted, it's at McDonald's, but it's better than him lying around the house all day. Cats. Soooo lazy.

What? Dogs are dogs and they should not work. My dog Ladybird worked once as a rescue dog but a danged ole chihuahua can't get a job, I tell you what.

My dog, Sadie, all ready has a job. She is with me to hear my alarm clock and hear other things for me....she is my hearing aids.....she works very hard at her job. She gets a bonus this year...maybe a buddie dog to play with. LOL
