That's eight possible outcomes, if you keep track of each coin toss separately.

If you don't keep track of the coin tosses separately, then there are four possible outcomes:
-Three heads no tails
-Two heads one tail
-One head two tails
-No heads three tails.

Usually in problems of this nature, the answer they're looking for is 8 outcomes, but it all depends on the context.
