Put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel. One of the most popular acne home remedies.
Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne.
Another method is to massage the face with the skin of lemon before washing with lukewarm water.
A couple of garlic cloves, crushed and dabbed on the face 1-2 times a day. One of the smellier acne home remedies!
Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning.
Take vitamin B5 and zinc supplements daily to strengthen the skin's resistance to acne.
Grind some nutmeg with milk and apply on affected area. Pimples disappear like magic without leaving a mark.

I watched the Tyra Banks show once and learned that a lot of models use crushed asprin mixed with water into a paste, then put on the effected area. Aspirin is nothing more than Salicylic acid, which is the same ingredient in most acne face washes. You can buy aspirin cheap at the dollar store and it does the same as the expensive products...I've tried it for myself and it works great. It will dry your skin out a little bit, so try a spot before you cover your face. Good luck!

hello there! i used to have a really big problem with blackheads, ESPECIALLY around my nose area. they are very annoying i understand as they are obvious even under foundation. so what you need now is a basic cleanser to start with- biore is very good and affordable. get the pore cleanser. it is very refreshing and not too harsh on the skin, although you will feel that it tingles the skin bt you'll get used to it. if you can, get the biore pore pack for men- because they've got a larger coverage and they are stronger too. use this once a fortnight to get rid of the blackheads. as you know, our skin renews itself every fortnight or so. for an economical alternative, egg whites work wonders too as a pore mask. apply them on and wait till its dry then peel it off!- be more generous at areas with blackheads. good luck!

Biore pore strips for the blackheads. they hurt to rip off but it works really well if you use it correctly.
Clearasil Ultra for the pimples- it dries it out really well and it's not expensive.
