"Average" test scores are misleading as they don't describe the profiles of admitted students accurately. UC provides a breakdown of percentage of students admitted by test score range, which I believe is a better description of the student body as a whole. The latest final data available from the UC is Fall 2006 and you can see it here: http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/resources/materials/ITU.pdf Berkeley is on page 39 and UCLA on page 42.

UCLA: Avg weighted GPA-4.3
Math- 687
Critical Reading- 657
Writing- 662.
Berkeley:Avg weighted GPA: 4.26
Reading: 580-710
Math: 620-740
Writing: 590-710
I found the averages for UCLA but for Berkeley I only found the ranges. You can check out their websites and look at my sources if you need more info regarding other scores such as the SAT subject tests. I hope this helps.

you have a solid probability of moving into. determine you have taken he ACT as properly and score a 18 or extra appropriate. To get in those colleges you will desire a minimum of a 20 in my view. large job nonetheless. you will get in.

Remember the SAT is determine whether or not you qualify for a scholarship. If you can afford to pay or parents are alumni, your score can be a 400.
