I just left Malaysia, Seremban, after being there for 1 year and used Streamyx DSL. It worked good, as DSL goes anyway. You should have them come out and check your phone line connection.
Anyway the contract states that you are liable for the cost of the subsciption even if you want to terminate it early. Sorry, but you should always read the contract before signing......

You cannot End with any broadband connection contracts either in Malaysia or Singapore. If you terminate early you should pay the remaining month subscription fees. Thatz how they make money and we lose money? No Choice friend continue until the contract finishes.
