Simple Answer: He was...but not anymore

He's over the hill and has too many injuries under his belt. A few years ago yes he was. Now Id say John Lynch hes in his prime or just over it now.

For safeties, he would not be the hardest hitter. He's getting older and has had some injuries, so he is not as big of a hitter as before. You got people like Sean Taylor, Troy Polamalu, Brian Dawkins, etc. etc. The Safety position is definetely becoming a position that is more and more vital to teams, and becoming more fun to watch.

1. Roy williams
2.Troy Polamalu
3. Brian Dawkins

and i have no clue if it was a safty but whoever knocked
reggie bush out in the playoff game against the eagles can hit

No, the hardest hitting Safety by far is Brian Dawkins, he's also the best defensive player in the NFL. As far as LB's Leroy Hill from the Seahawks is way underated, I seen him play college ball, and let me tell you he can hit with the best of them!

Yes, for strong safeties he is...LBs would hit harder...I think Bruschi, Vrabel, and Colvin are the hardest hitters on the Patriots...
