It depends. Most places charge around 25.00 for a full set of acrylic nails. If you get gel it's about 40.00. They always charge extra for the color, designs and gemstones. If you go with acrylic you can usually get it done for around 40.00 including the tip. That depends, of course, on if you get gemstones etc. You need to get them filled once every two or three weeks after the initial appt. and that usually runs around 16-20.00. Getting your nails done is AWESOME! It makes the hands look so much prettier and it's a great treat to yourself!! Have fun! BTW make sure you go to a clean, strerile nail place too. It's really easy to get an infection if the facility you go to is not clean. Ask around and pay attention to the hygiene of the employees. You can tell a lot about a facility by the way the employees present themselves. Hope this helps!!

It depends where you get your nails. If you go to the Asian shops, it will be cheaper because they use acid and the same stuff dentures are made out of. If you go to a regular salon, they will use OPI or Tammy Taylor and it will cost more. I have had acrylic nails on for 15 years and they have never been off except for repair. Never any problems at a salon. Where I live it is:
Asian Shop $30 for full set, $15 for fills
Regular Salon $40 for full set, $22 for fills

I have found that buffing my nails to a high gloss looks way better than a French tip, and it's totally natural, which means it won't be an insult to your skin. Remember, products like nail polish will degrade your skin over time, and eventually you will be left with weak, brittle nails that don't grow. Buffing regularly can turn that around.

It depends on where you go. I got mine done for $22 (which includes 2 hand drawn nail designs)

$24 for a simple paint and acrylic job. It was at a small outlet in a plaza; but it really doesnt matter where you go (to me)

yes...to have them put on, about $25-$35 depending on the place, then $10-$15 for fills...
