I think it just depends on the type of mood you're in. If you want to go out and flirt in order to get your mind off the break up, I suggest going to get a drink. If however, you wish to release tension by working out (where you may feel better about your self), then I reccommend that.

Buy a new outfit and go to a great restaurant to have a drink and do kegels while waiting for dinner. It's a win-win situation. Sorry about your break-up.

I use to find that a good gym session use to take my mind off of things. You could also try some yoga. Don't hurt your self.
