Febreze air freshener?

Question

Has anyone tried to Febreze plug in air freshener? If so does it work? I have tried glade, wisp, oust and even the thing that sprays from the wall every 8 minutes. Nothing permeates the scent through the room longer than a second. Any suggestions? Also I have tried yankee candles (sweet tarts) don't work either. Help

In response to several of the responses, my home is very clean but I like to smell good fragrance when I walk in a room. I have OCD so cleaning is one thing my house doesnt need

you should try aromatherapy diffusers or essential oil diffusers they have them at bed bath and beyond or pier one imports at pier one they have the kind where the scent is at the bottom its a liquid and has wooden sticks at the top and when you feel u need more fragrance you flip the wooden sticks or u can go to bed bath and beyond and get the aromatherapy diffusers where u put in a scented oil and it comes out as a vapor

I have the same issue.However I do this I open all windows when I cook. I use candles .Air freshener like you work for a very less time but are very expensive.

If none of these freshener´s suit , then have you tried having pot-pourri, you can have little baskets or ornaments around the home or office .then when you get fed up of one scent ,you can buy the little bottles of scent from the health store and add which every scent you like.

If you do not eliminate the cause of an odor in a house, you will not get rid of it with much of anything.

Make sure everything is clean. Floors, appliances, counter tops, trash baskets, carpeting, bathrooms.

If everything is clean the odor will go away.

All of the air fresheners are temporary.

We have one of those glad light shows and it is pretty strong. So I would try that. I can smell it in my whole house.

Clean the whole room top to bottom with Amonia.
