how do you change the picture you have on your comp.?

when you strart up and the pic comes up.well i want it changed ,how to do this please.thanks.

Right-click on the desktop and select Properties. Select the Desktop tab, and choose a pic. If you want it to be a Web page select Customize and click the Web tab. Either check the box for Home page or add a URL and check the box. If you want it to be a pic saved on your computer right-click on the pic and choose Set As Background.

most pictures can come from your MY PICTURES folder You save them from your camera ( with these pictures just right click on the pic you want and then click on set as desktop background) or off the net.. You can change to a different picture that is already in your computer by right clicking anywhere on your desktop.. a window will pop up go down to properties and then click on desktop there is a menu there... just click on each one till you like something and then click apply.

do you mean your wallpaper when you say picture (the background picture on you desktop) if you want to change it right click on a blank area of the desktop and click properties on the dialogue tab click the desktop tab you can change if from there
You can do it even easier than that if you want open internet explorer and drag a picture file of your choice into the window of IE then right click on it and click set as background, job done

Even easier is to open My Pictures folder. Put your cursor over the picture you want to make your background. Right click. Then click on the option that says "Set As Desktop Background."

i dont really understand...
if you mean the background you go to your background of your screen, right click, properties, desktop and walla.
if you mean the icon for your name you go to
-start
-control panel
-user accounts
-change an account
-select the account you want to change
-go to change my picture
- you can then choose any picture you want or browse your computer for more pictures
