I had mine at age 21. I am now over 40. I have yet to have any kind of regret at all. And, by the way, I never had children.
It has been almost 20 years, and the novelty has yet to wear off.
It has not affected my life in any way, except for saving me the cost of being a father.

Best thing I ever did and I recommend it to anyone. We have 2 kids and both agreed that it was the right time for me to get the snip. Seeing what my wife went through in child birth, a 10 minute snip is the least I could do. Just spend the first 48 hours after it taking it nice and easy, don;t do anything physical. Also, make sure you get the all clear before you start having unprotective sex.

Your wife wants you to get snipped. But what do YOU want? If your marriage ended in divorce (as almost half of all marriages do, alas), would you ever want kids with somebody else? This is not something that one partner in a marriage should push the other partner to do--don't have it done unless BOTH of you think it's a great idea. You can't count on reversals working if you change your mind.

None at all, if you have had all the children you intend to pay child support for.
You can blow your load on anyone (if you choose to), without the risk of an unwanted pregnancy. That's the only difference I have noticed. Oh, and your wife will have to be careful who she sleeps with because if she gets knocked up.. she will not be able to blame you... so it's win-win as far as you are concerned....
The initial month or two requires caution because it takes some time for your body to clear the pipes, so to speak... and the sample providing is a little embarrassing when there is some pimple faced teenager at the lobby counter saying "what's this in the jar?".

Best thing ever. My husband had his done almost 4 years ago. It's very nice not to have to worry about anything anymore. He had it done on a Friday morning and was back to work on Monday with no problems. He said it wasn't a walk in the park by any means however it was not that bad either. Just follow Dr's orders for recovery and all will end well.

Nope! Best decision I ever made! We had the family we wanted and still many years of life left so I took the plunge!
Easy as cake if you do what the doc tells you to do! Some guys ignore the advice and pay the price!
