On-line I like Amazon. Yeap, Amazon.

You can use almost any 2.5" drive. The one above is a high speed example (7200rpm) 120gb for only $80!!!!!! I find a lot of computers are hard drive "bound" and work much better with a fast drive. They cause a little more heat, and if you're on battery, set your spin down quicker. Anyway, you'll love it!

To replace it, it's the one "odd" screw under the audio connectior plate. You can use a coin to remove it. You must have the cover open at least 1/2inch to take it out and put the plate back.

Probably IBM's web site, but it is a simple process, you need a new 2 and a half inch drive, whatever capacity you want, underneath the machine, in the front, two screws on the side, uncrew them, the whole drive bay pulls out, you will see the drive, unscrew it, replace it correct side up - note how you took the old one out, slip it back in, and install the latest version of Ubuntu. http://www.ubuntu.com
