She should see an infertility specialist. This would be the only recommendation I know of.

she needs to see someone whose specialty is in female fertility. why did she stop is another thing to take into the picture. My friend is very unhealthy and hasn't had it in years....definitily because of her weight. umm what else. she could perhaps consider other options. that is always a little sad I know - there is hope though my mother was told she couldn't have kids because of a health condition she has (which comes and goes and actually hasn't been present in a long time) but she had my older sister and my twin brother and I no problem...well slight problems nothing huge though.

good luck!!! I hope she finds a way :) :) :)

I would recommend that she ask her dr about hormone imbalances that could be playing in to this. Also, talking to an infertility specialist is a good option under these circumstances. Tell her to start with her primary care physician if she has the kind of insurance that requires her to do so.

Without a regular menstrual cycle, it would be difficult to determine ovulation period. Not impossible to concieve but will need lots of luck. Ask her if she'll consider other options. If yes, consult her gynae who would be the right person to provide her with advices.

If your friend is healthy and her husband is healthy (i.e., good sperm count), there is a technique they can try which is basically a fairly simple modification of the usual "quickie". It's based on known medical facts about the human female anatomy and sexual response, but not all doctors are aware of it. (No additional equipment required!) E-mail me, or have her e-mail me for the directions.
