how do rooster's fertilize chicken eggs so they devlope into young chic's

when an egg cell is released from a hens ovum it travel down the tubes and gets coated in the yolk and then the albumen and then the shell, if a male has mated with the hen then she will have sperm inside her and these will fertilise the egg cell and become formed inside the egg.
