Good question.I was recently reading an article that said about 10yrs ago about 10-20% in the U.S had cells and that today it's about 70-80%.It's amazing how it has changed everyday life.I was a late bloomer,I never had a beeper and just got my first cell about a year ago.It's funny the other day I was coming out of a store and there was a pay phone there and it made me feel nostalgic.It was like looking at old tv antenna on top of someones house or a rotary dial phone.I was like wow,I forgot about pay phones.It also look very lonely, And I thought it was kind of sad.Ya know what I mean?

I don't have one anymore but I used to have one a few years ago though.
I haven't had a cell phone since early 2005.
So now, I use my boyfriend's whenever I need a phone, which ain't too often, by the way...

Yes, I know plenty of people that don't have cell phone. That's why you see people using public telephones. Just take a look see.

My friends 7 year old nephew has a damn Boost Mobile. He's 7, what does he need a cell phone for?!

YES! ME! I hate the fact that people can call me and ask me where I am when I want to be alone. *sighz* I remember a time where there were no cellphones.....and everyone get along just friggin fine!
I'd pick a cellfone over a beeper tho. Using public phones is humiliating nowadays.

I'm trying to avoid "J" but I will answer this, no, we don't have cells in our family. Lots of reasons but mainly I don't want to be called when I'm out doing other things. It's simply a matter of choice. Simplicity of life & wise choices.

I had to think long about this one, but no...I don't know anyone, even my 80-year old relatives had cell phones!

Me! I don't have one. I did have a tracfone but I gave that up also. Will I survive in this world with out one?

I do. My best friend doesn't have one. She said it's not convenient for people to call her when she is doing something away from home!
