Are you breast feeding? If you are, it is commonly known that breast feeding can suppress your menstrual cycle. But better to be safe than sorry. Use birth control every time you have sex...or you could end up with two in diapers!

If you are breastfeeding, that can delay your period until you cut back or stop. It didn't for me, but it does for some. You definitely want to talk to your doctor. Have him do a blood test (if you haven't already) to rule out a false negative on a pregnancy test. He will also be able to rule out any other health issue that may be causing this. 7-8 months is a long time to go without a period if you were always regular in the past. Don't stress too much about it (you have enough going on with a new baby at home) but don't put off seeing your doctor either.

You will probably get it soon. I have had 4. It took from 9-11 months before I got my period again.

If you are nursing that postpones your period, and it does take time for your body to get back to normal. I would call the doctor and ask him and get an appointment to see what is going on.

Ar you breast feeding still? Are you extra thin? Are you an athletic marathon runner? If no to those, you may want to check with your Doctor.
