He only wore a wig on the mask for that final match. He kept his long hair after the Diesel immitation character and throughout the Kane character. He DID NOT wrestle that many years with a wig on.

Think about it lady gaga wears wigs and dresses in different outfits 2 get attention! I mean look @ how many websites and questions their are about lady gagas hair and why she never wears pants. She has the whole world talking about her from ppl as young as 12 all the way 2 80 year olds. She has the attention of ppl so now when ever a new song or music video comes out ppl will watch it and buy it!

Kane most certainly had long hair until that match. I saw the Christmas Eve Raw in Chattanooga TN in 2000 and when we left me and my brothers saw Glen Jacobs packing up and getting in a Lincoln with his wife. We kept yelling Kane! Kane! But he wouldn't answer so I said "That's not Kane that Issac Yankeem." It got a bit of smile out of him but he still didn't respond because he was not suppose to interact with fans out of the mask.

Yeah he wasn't always bald. Back on the WWF Attitude game there was a t-shirt on create-a-wrestler that had him with half a mask on, and half of his head/face shown....he had hair then.
