Final Grades are based upon:

80%- 4 Exams
15%- Project
5%- Attendance

My test grades are 98, 100, 95, 95. My Project Grade is 0 and my Attendance is 100.

Can anyone figure this out for me?

First, you want to find the average of your scores. You can do this two ways. You can either (1) add up all the test scores or (2) multiply 95 twice and then add in the additional test scores. It doesn't matter to me which one you will pick. I will take you through both ways.

Method 1
add up all the test scores
98+100+95+95 = 388
388+4 = 77.6

method 2
multiply 95 twice (because you had 2 of the same grade), add in the remaining test scores and divide by 4
2*95 = 190
190+98+100 = 388
388/4 = 77.6

As you can see, it doesn't matter which method you choose because they will come out to the next answer.

Next, you want to find out your attendance score. You can do this by multiplying 100*.5. This comes out to 50. Since you aquired the full percentage, we do not need to add 50. Instead, just add 5 to the original number (77.6) we calculated for the test scores. This gives you a total average of 82.6. This number is in the b range.

I hope this explination helps. I would apreciate any comments -- good and bad. I am planning on becomming a tutor for students.

g = 0.2(98 + 100 + 95 + 95) + 0.05*100

This is how it should be set up:
(((388/400)*.80)+(0*.15)+
(100/100)*.05))
/(.80+.15+.05)=.826

You have a B in the class!

you may desire to calculate a million/4th of youroverall marks, as 25% of one hundred% is one fourth, so of your very final marks, in basic terms calculate a million/4th it is divide that with 4, which gives16.25%
