I don't live with mom,
I'm a new mom
and nothing is wrong with thinking of things ahead of time.

give her a card and a gift certificate for a massage oh! and some flowers...congrats on being a new mom!

The best gift that you could give your mom is to take her some wear and spend the day with her like a festival or the park or an attraction of some type buy her way and buy lunch and she will love the quality time that you too spend together and if you have brothers and sisters then you all take her and split the bill between your siblings you could even do a overnight trip she will love this I promise

First take her out to dinner. Ask her if she needs help around the house and or just come over for a few days and do what you think you can to help her around home. Spend time with her more. She will appreciate that more than anything I think. Hope she has a wonderful day with you!

My mother tells me "I don't need anything, don't bother getting me something." But of course, you should get her something anyway. Maybe visit her if you live far from her and have dinner, or take her somewhere special. Don't send her a card, nobody reads those things. If they do, it ends up in the trash, or in a drawer where it collects dust over time.

A lovely afternoon antique shopping. You buy her what she really likes if she sees something. You take her to a nice lunch and you just spend time together. Our antique mall is offering a discount if you bring mom in that week.

Get prepared and present your lovely mom a Big and goodlooking frame of a photo in which only you at childhood and your mother are Hugging !

Perhaps a bottle of expensive perfume and a great hug would be nice. Yet, Mothers Day is a month to come.

It depends on how much you want to spend, you could get her a necklace and maybe matching earing or a bracelet. Or if you or going cheaper maybe a book that you know she likes with a nice bookmark. Good luck!

You could plant some flowers in her yard, take her out to a nice Sunday brunch.
Mom's like new and pretty clothes too, she usually is the last one in the family to get them.
