I'M REALLY,SERIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT WRITING A BOOK AND OR PUBLISHING SOME PHOTOS OF ME AND ABOUT 75 TO 100 COUNTRY MUSIC STARS THAT I'VE MET, MOSTLY LEGENDS AND A FEW OTHER STARS LIKE GARTH BROOKS,MARTINA MCBRIDE, TRISHA YEARWOOD,ALAN JACKSON ETC...ALSO I'D LOVE TO INCLUDE THE STORIES OF OUR MEETING AND SOME OF HOW I HAD DINNER WITH THEM IN THEIR HOME AND SO ON! IS THERE ANYBODY THAT CAN GUIDE ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION? ALL OF THIS IS NEW TO ME, BUT MY FRIENDS HAVE BEEN PUSHING ME TO DO THIS EVERY TIME I ATTEND A CONCERT AND COME HOME WITH ANOTHER PHOTO OF ME AND ANOTHER STAR AND A BACKSTAGE PASS!

This sounds like an interesting idea to me, and I work in the industry. (No, I can't help you get it published, but I do help writers. Check out www.ireadyou.com)

Get the book "Idiot's Guide to Getting Published" and look for the chapter about non-fiction book proposals. That will tell you how to start.

It doesn't sound to me like a publisher would be very interested in this unless you paid to have it published yourself. You might contact a magazine affiliated with country music or something and see if they'd be interested in what you have to offer. What you really have is more interesting to you than others, so it's really just personal scrapbook material. Then again, there may be more of a market than I think. Take a look at a writer's market-libraries and book stores would have copies. Look up publishers specializing in Western and non-fiction categories. Then just follow the directions for contacting them. Good luck

Gee Sunny, is your keyboard stuck on caps lock? To be honest, no legitimate publisher would be interested in this utter boredom. Believe me, EVERYONE has met someone famous and had dinner with them, and frankly, that is not enough about which to write a book. I knew a guy who had dinner with Andy Warhol once but didn't feel the need to write about it. Also, knew some folks who were acquaintances of some of the stars of the old Lawrence Welk Show. And, I have a couple of relatives in show business who knows many celebrities. In addition, my mother went to college with the late Johnny Carson. All of this does not add up to a book, dear, trust me. Neither do any of your stories. They are merely "asides" that one might mention at a party, or something similar. Period.

Sounds like a publishable idea. Get a listing of NYC Literary Agents in the reference book The Literary Market Place. Every library has it. Just ask for it at the reference desk. From there pick and chose which literary agent you want to contact. When you send them your idea, you are going to need to include copies of yoru photographs. Believe me in NYC, no one believes in anyone unless you have known the person for a long time. They are going to need to see the photographs before they take you on as a client and sale your book idea to major publishing houses like Random House, Doubleday, etc.

I second the stop cap-locks now wish. I have studied much on how to publish a fiction novel, not so much with a non-fiction one which I think is easier. You seem to have a good idea. Go to a library or large bookstore and find other books like yours. Contact the publisher.

I'm not going to comment on your grammar. I don't really understand. What kind of book features pictures of some girl and country singers? Who would read that? It'd be better if you could do a collective biography about them, or a book about looking into their homes. I'm not sure, either, who you'd go to get something like that published. You can look it up in a writing reference book easily.

Wow, next time, easy on the caps lock. You sound like you know what you want to do, so you should go ahead and do it.
