My kids are getting a little too old to hunt eggs so I have planned a treasure hunt with clues?
They will have to figure out the clues in order to find their Easter gifts. We are also grilling hot dogs and having a light supper. Do you have any other ideas that can make our evening fun? I would like to make it really special. They have been or spring break and with their Dad. I will get them back just in time for the fun Sunday eve.

what a great idea but, i gotta tell you, my older ones are 18 and 21. they still get a kick out of hunting for eggs with their little bro. so much for maturity.
for your evening, play some games rent a good movie. ten comandments is popular this time of year. pull out the video cam and make your own movie. have the gradndparents over and tell the kids what easter was like when you were growing up. whatever you do, have a wonderful time.

The treasure hunt is a great idea they'll love it! After you eat have a special time where all of you sit and maybe play a game and talk with each other or watch a favorite movie or what i loved when we were little mom and dad would buy a bunch of ice cream and toppings and we got to make our own sundae with whatever we wanted...(HELPFUL HINT: they gave us smaller bowls so we wouldnt eat a bunch of it and get sick too)

I'm making mini cupcakes with my son this year. I bought a pan with the small size cups. We're going to decorate them together, with colored frosting, sprinkles and jelly beans. I think that's really fun.

You could have more games and actvities and if the weather is warm you could have a kiddie pool fixed.
