The services of a coach is required to give coaching and training to the players on various aspects of the game and not for leading the players. The Coach can help the players to correct the flaw in their technique and pin point the shortcoming in each player and guide them to correct the same.

the coach is here to teach the techniques and how to bowl ,bat etc.but captain
teaches
1.spit in the the game
2.puntuality
3.frindship
& leads the team.

Yeah, captain can be. But if the coach rule the system by dividing and rule objective, then things get wired. And that's what 'Chappal' (Chappel) did for India.
