When u install a cold air intake into ur car does it make the car sound different??

Yes - your stock intake has noise dampeners in it, where the cold air intake is a metal tube that will amplify sound. There is no telling really what it will sound like until you bolt it onto the car, but you can listen to other people with a cold air intake to get a good idea.
