I plugged in the composite cable from ps2 and cant get color?

I have a monster hd composite cable, i get sound and picture but no color, any ideas how to fix it?

There is no such a thing as HD Composite cable. Composite (usually with Yellow color) does not support HD signaling.

Now, if you have component Cables (R/G/B colors) make sure you connect all three in the video ports and use separate cables for audio.

Are you sure that is a NTSC and not a PAL cable? Verify that it is the right cable, and if it is, try a different one to see if it is the console or the cable. Good luck!
