What is the normal frequency for intimacy with couples?

My husband and I have been together for a couple of years, and at least once a day is optimal, some days it is 2 or 3 times a day. I tell him we are so naughty, good chemistry. My friends that I know we chat about this, and they are in the same boat as me, sometimes a little more or less than me. I think Americans have sex less often that Europeans or Latin Americans, as sex appears to be for the young in America, some people loose some of their drive as they get older, not the case for my sisters or friends, we are all of European or Latin american descent.

For us, it was here and there, a few times a week at first, now less, like a few times in a week and then nothing the rest of the month. I think we both want to make that a little more often, but it isn't like we are falling apart over it. We are close in different ways, though. We watch movies together, we talk, he holds me and brushes my hair, etc. We have 5 kids and are pretty busy people, so other stuff gets in the way. Don't worry about other people. If you want it more, or less, talk it over. Be yourself, and stop judging by what others do.

I would say for the first few years like 1-4yrs I would figure 4-6 times a week would be about average. It also varies if babies and other things happen like medical problems and anything else or there is a dip in either spouses libido/sex drive. Or the relationship is on the rocks. Arguments will also drastically alter the amount of sex you may receive sorry to tell you this but really the women have the reigns on the whole sex issue so just pray and keep your lady happy!

There's no answer to this question. It varies widely between couples. After a year I would say it's still pretty often, maybe 3-5 times a week, but it depends on each persons sex drive, work schedule and a lot of other things too.........
