LOL! I had this conversation just the other day. One of my favorite episodes is when Laura is in love with "Manly", but he doesn't know it yet. Nelly was trying to make moves on him and invites him to the dinner so she can cook him cinnamon chicken. She pretends to make the whole dinner. Laura puts paprika or cayenne on the chicken instead. Hahaha! Just funny.

I don't know what season it is from. My favorite episode is the one where Mr. Edwards gives the girls a cup as a Christmas gift. And they say, "Now we don't have to share."
That show makes me cry every time I watch it. It doesn't matter if it's a sad episode or a happy episode. I still cry.
I also like the episode where Laura and Nellie are fighting in the creek and they get that black mud all over them.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!! my favorite one is called "boys will be men" or something like that. It's where Edward and Charles try to trick Andy and Albert into surviving on their own for a week in the wilderness because the boys want to be treated like men. Charles and Edward are following the boys the whole time though, but the boys don't know it. It ends up where the two boys outsmart the men because they can survive and the men have a hard time, thinking oh, the boys will give up anytime now, but they don't! Charles and Edward are left to fend for themselves with no food or shelter. This episode is hilarious!

The ones where Mary went blind and then met Adam and ended up falling in love with him
My others are, of course, the Laura Ingalls Wilder episodes where she and Manly get married..
Remember when Eliza lied to them about getting married so that they would have the house guilt free? I cried for her. it was so sad.
Yeah, I am embarrassed by admitting that.. LOL

I agree with the first two,( so Igave them both props).
I will never forget the part with Mr. Edwards telling about how he saw some little fat man in a red suit skulking around and he wrestled with him and the guy in the red suit dropped a whole bag full of goodies. That was tv writing at it's best !

Mine is "The Lord Is My Shepard" it is a two hour special movie from season one. It is where the baby boy is born and Laura is jealous because she thinks Pa will love the boy more than her.The baby dies and Laura thinks it is her fault so she goes into the mountains and Pa goes crazy trying to find her I need a box of kleenex for that one. The books and TV series have always been special to me all of them.

I loved the one where Nellie pretended to be crippled and Laura pushed her down the hill into the creek in her wheelchair! The one where Mary's baby dies always freaked me out. Those blind eyes and that blank face singing that creepy lullaby over and over...

I dont know what season its from, but I always liked the ep where Mrs Olsen adopted a little girl named Nancy, to help her get over her depression about Nellie moving away and getting married. she dressed nancy up to look like Nellie and Laura freaked out when she saw her in her classroom..
that one and the one where Albert pretended to be a werewolf.. Classic..

A lot of favorites....... the one where Laura pushes Nellie's wheelchair down the hill is classic....... the one where Laura meets Almonzo and calls him "Manly", the one with Johnny Cash as a crooked traveling "preacher", but I think one of my very favorites is the one where Mrs Olsen realizes Mrs Terhune is black....... the look on her face is priceless. And then when she holds the little black boy's hand after they all make it back safely....... that's great. She shows she's human after all.

I have to say the one where Nellie has the fake "accident" and she has to sit in the wheelchair...I love it when Laura gets her revenge by pushing her down that hill lol.....I also love the Christmas one. I'm so glad they are out on DVD now so I can watch them whenever I want to...maybe i'll do a marathon this weekend. =)
PS-I also enjoy the one where they find the fools gold and Laura's imagination gets away with her.
