I have been looking everywhere and can't find star locking washers smaller than size #2, I'm looking for some that can fit around a 1/16 bolt. Even metric I can't find anything smaller than size #2

I forgot to mention that I am looking for internal locking. But will take external as a last resort.

look at ace hardware,tru value hardware,lowes,home depot,tractor supply company,farm fleet,dont know what region you live in to tell you what stores to look in

Go to www.mcmaster.com.
Search "washer" and select the type. If the external tooth washer doesn't work, there will be a different type that will.

Have found odd hardware online.
Also try "House of metrics" is /was in Spting Valley NY, area code 845.
May have to buy a box.

Just guessing, but did you try a watch repair shop, or maybe a hobby shop?

Try Fastenal. They have lots of stores and a website.
