Buy a Mac, anything else is unreliable garbage.

For a graphic designer, definitely a Mac. Since I'm a Windows guy by trade, I don't know all that much about them, so to choose a particular model I recommend you look online or in an Apple store. Good luck and happy computing!

hi, a graphic desginer should definatly get a apple macbook no matter what. Apples are meant for fast pace work with the software designed for things like graphic designing. I were you i would get a mac. I have a mac and i am a grpahic designer for nike. Thank you

Lots o' my graphics-oriented pals swear by larged-screened laptops (say, 17-inch screen) for the best bet in photos. In the extreme case, which you won't do, my extreme pro-photo pal uses a 24-inch Mac...so anything down from there, max you could get, I guess (max speed, max screen). PC magazine pushed an IBM T60, but it's only 15-inch. I guess commonly the trend is Mac for graphics.
