Cancer. because it seems much more unfair then AIDS (although AIDS is unfair and horrible, but it can often be prevented). cancer is much more evil.

Honestly, I would have to say cancer because I have been through cancer with 4 people in my family and my wife lost her Dad to cancer. People with AIDS are now able to live full lives with a cocktail of drugs that keep the symptoms under control. They are living 15-20 years or more after being diagnosed. People who have cancer don't have anything like that. The chemo treatments are torture and there is little they can do to relieve the horrible side effects of chemo. It is a terrible disease that takes millions of children, men and women every year. I pray that a cure can be found for both, but I think more needs to be done for cancer patients. How did they find these medications to help AIDS so quickly and cancer continues to be a leader in deaths each year. This was a good and interesting question.

Oh that's a toughy, good question though! I would say cancer probably. Aids needs to be cured too because it is taking alot of childrens lives in other countries (only because of lack of education.) But cancer comes in so many forms and there is nothing you could have done to prevent it. Cheers.

If i could only choose 1, then i would pick Cancer, nearly everyone knows someone who has suffered with some form of cancer, its tough to see loved ones ill.
I'm not saying Aids isn't a good choice

Cancer, without a doubt. I have two people really close to me (my partners best friends wife who I love to bits and my partners dad who i love to bits also) who are both dying of cancer. There is nothing that can be done for either of them.

Also, aids is avoidable with the proper precautions. Not that it is not a terribel thing and some people can't be blamed for getting aids.

I also think that cancer is more widespread and so would cure more people.

It would have to be cancer as I think it affects more people. Also, AIDS can often be prevented or can be treated more effectively - I realise there isn't a cure but people can have a relatively normal life with the right medication.

Cancer. AIDS can be prevented, and there are many good treatments to promote a longer life with AIDS. We hear about AIDS so much in Africa because these treatments aren't made available. Cancer can often strike even if you are living the healthiest life possible.

i would choose to cure cancer as, i believe, there are more sufferers of this cruel disease than of aids. It can affect anyone at any time and there is no way of preventing it...with aids, generally, you can avoid it by being sensible and careful. Nonetheless, this is a difficult question to answer.

Cancer.

Definately cancer. I've lost people to cancer but not to AIDS. My husband lost his older brother to cancer and breast cancer runs in his Mother's family. AIDS is, for the most part, preventable.

If I knew which disease infected most people then I would probally choose that one. As I dont know then I would probally cure Aids, because it is devasting Africa and African people have suffered a lot of abuses from mainly white nations. The Imperial war was about carving up Africa anyone who wear diamonds or gold probally got them from there, I know Aids is everywhere it would really change the world to cure it. we live in hope. my skin is pink, my heart is african.
