for making a decision? Nancy does have political power.. whether you agree with her or not.. just like Bush and Cheney have power.. even though I don't agree with them.. it's part of that whole checks and balance thing.

She's a Democrat. Democrats aren't allowed to sneeze without being criticized for the color of the Kleenex they used to cover their noses.

The Bush administration is in a weaker position than they will ever admit to, but the attacks on Nancy Pelosi is what you would call a "tell", in poker. It isn't so much what she's doing, and more so that she is actually doing it. The attacks upon her are a weak attempt to try and strengthen a position of power so weakened by lies, that they should really viewed as a compliment by those in favor of the kind of change the Dems appear to be finally bringing into the arena.

With the kind of trouble Bush and Cheney appear to be facing, and with the tact they are taking, Nancy is looking at a lot of future responsibility.

I would think Tony Blair would be the third most powerful in politics, but that's just me. She does not have any foreign political power. The only power she has constitutionally is over the legislative branch of our government. That's it no more, no less. The only thing she can use checks and balances is in our countries legislation. She is not an Ambassador of this country nor can she speak for this country. Whether you agree or disagree with her views is one thing. The Constitution is another.

Nancy Pelosi was last elected by a mere 101,757 voters in San Francisco to represent the 8th Congressional District of California in one house of the U.S. Congress. The rest of the country did not elect Nancy to negotiate on the entire nation's behalf with a Muslim thug dedicated to the defeat of U.S. Middle Eastern policy.

The U.S. Constitution does not authorize 101,757 San Francisco voters to execute U.S. foreign policy. The constitution authorizes the U.S. President to do this, not the Representative from the 8th Congressional District of California.

Maybe Nancy's staff has not told her about this yet. Or maybe she just thinks she's Jane Fonda.

Pelosi is good legislator and an effective leader so they have to attack her, smear her and try to damage her in every way possible. Politically, she is the most powerful woman in this country’s history and some people attack her on that basis alone.

probably because she was not voted on nationally to be president. Probably because her political base is from an extremely liberal point of view which is only a minority point of view. Extreme left wing is not the liberal point of view of the majority of democrats

Because she's a woman and she's a Democrat! Be real. They're not even mentioning that her delegation is BIPARTISAN and that a group of all Republicans went there the previous week. It's more dishonest spin.

I like how the moonbats call it treason - when King George deciders to side step the constitution and wipe his butt with it.
