I just got into my dream school, but now I'm realizing that the little itty bitty dorm is gonna need and hold alot more then I orignally thought! SO, what do I really need. Also, any other tips for college would be welcomed! Thanks!!!!

If your going to have a roommate you should talk to her or him before you go and decide which one of you is going to bring what. Those room aren't big enough for 2 of everything so you have to learn to share really fast. But some of the basics that your going to need are a TV, Mini-Fridge (most schools say they have to be under 3 cubic feet or something like that), Microwave, Hot Plate (if they are allowed), Computer (laptop is the way to go if you can), and of course all of your bedding and clothes and stuff like that! Have fun :)

Go to Ikea.com
Then Click on Bathroom
Look on the Left Hand Side Bar Towards the Bottom and you will see "One Bedroom Living" under Tips
This will show you great ideas on how to use all the space you have. I looked at this Before I moved into a Studio & it works!!

A new friend at college
Motivation
You should leave behind:
Bad attatudes
People who want to hold you back
A victim mentality
Everything else are just "tools" you can puchase (clothes, laundry detergent, laptops, books, etc.), but without the drive and motivation, the tools will not help.

the list is endless... here are some suggestions
Laundry detergent, clothes hangers, nice mix of clothing (you can never have to much), 2 sets of sheets, dvd player w/ lots of movies, TV, microwave, stock up on supplies like bandaids, and other beauty supplies. there is so much more but these were the first things that came to mind

The only thing you really need is an open mind.
But clothing, an iPod, and a computer would be nice.
