can someone help me figure out how to get my pictures off the computer?

I have a bunch of digital pictures I want to get printed out. I use to just take the camera in but they aren't on my camera any more. I have a whole file. Can I put them straight on a disc to take in or do I need to put them in a different format? What is the easiest way for me to do this?

I always put mine on a CD from just copying and pasting.
i get mine printed at walgreens, and I just put the CD in, select the pictures I want printed and it prints them out.

Where do you have them? Are they files on a computer? Do you have a printer that can handle photo printing? If you downloaded them from the camera to your computer, likely they're in .jpg format (all our digital cameras have been that way) but you'll have to find the files! You can copy them to a CD if you have the software for it and can figure out how to use it, if you want. If you can't figure out how to print them on your own printer, and want to take them somewhere to be printed, then ask the folks at the place where you're going to get them printed, how they want the files arranged on the CD, then go back home and create a CD with the .jpg files organized in a manner the print folks will find acceptable...(Note it shouldn't be a different file *format*...)

There's a few things you could do.
1. plug your camera back in to your computer. if you're running windows xp, go to MyComputer, and your camera's drive should have popped up as a drive on your computer. simply drag and drop the pictures on your computer to the camera drive.

2. you can put the pictures directly on a cd in whatever format they're in, it should work when you take it to the store to get them developed.

3. many stores have a website where you can upload your pictures and then just go there and pick them up
