Not really. She might try to hide in the back of the tank or up near the surface, but that's not even always the case.

They tend to get wider, not so much a hanging belly, but wide. They will then go off to a corner, plant, or rocks away from all other fish. From the time mating begins and they eggs are fertilized, it's 21 days....

When my molly was pregnant her stomach swelled up. That was it. After a while she had a bunch of babies and her stomach's size went down.

Yeah, they must! Look for calluses on their fins, and if they don't have them, make them work harder.
