i have a fat pet rat and his name is harley. hes really fat and i make him little clothes.
i have many animals and he is the cleanest one. he comes when i call and he just soo great

I have 2 females & 1 male rat.
The male is my favorite, because they're just so laid back in comparison to the females.
I've owned rats for many years, and plan on owning them in the future, as well.
I've been on the search for a hairless male, because I used to own 2 hairless rats (one female, one male), and they were just so unique. Plus, you gotta love other peoples reactions when they see them. Haha.

they're between the best pets there friendly clever love little ones and are quite very sparkling animals, in case you elect for a rat is what you such as you could definitely get 2 because of fact they're an somewhat social animal.

Our groomer has pet rats as well. I agree that they are totally adorable! I think it's so cool that you have gotten him to be so affectionate towards you, our kitties are that way with us too! One thing though, and please don't take this as critisism as it's not meant to sound that way. If you really love him as much as it sounds like you do, you shouldn't allow him to be so overweight. A few extra pounds on him is as bad as 20 or 30 extra pounds on us. The health problems that can arrise will not only mean heart-ach and suffering (for both of you), but also costly vet bills. Congrats on all your wonderful friends!

I had a rat named Romeo. He was the best pet. He came when I called, i carried him on my shoulder, he'd pull the socks off my feet and hide them, he was very clean also- he returned to his cage to do his duty. I even took him outside to play and he never went far. The sad part is that they only live about two yrs and they are prone to respitory infections. You should watch his weight, i read some where that rats will actually eat themselves to death, they dont know when to stop.

I had a rat who passed away and now I have another rat who is blind and scared of everything. But yeah, rats are amazing pets. They remind me of little dogs with how they lick you and how friendly they are with people(well maybe not all). My favorite rodent of all : )

He sounds adorable! You should post pictures! I miss having a pet rat. I wish my husband didn't have a stupid cat. The cat gets LOST in our three room apartment! How sad is that?

who cares if it isnt a question! rats are cool and great and fun so ha! i have one and i dont dress it up but he is great to play with. and as for the tails, its soo easy to get past when you see their cute little faces!

We have 3 female rats, Shadow, Gidget and Oreo. You are so right, they are cool. We even litter box trained one.
