either both decide to leave that boy alone, or find out which one the boy likes and then let the chosen one be w/ him... but that last idea might be really really hard to do, only do that one if you both are mature enogh to handle it (dont feel bad if you dont think you are, most ppl arent for THAT cituation, its tough...).

I would consider putting some boundaries like if one of you is going out with him the other cannot flirt with him and will respect you as a couple or something like that.
