Some online college degrees are scams, but many are not. Check the accredidation of the school. Check other schools that are accredited by the same organizaton. If you don't recognize any of the names you should move on. For instance, Bellevue University is an online school accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleged and Schools. That is the same accrediting agency for Oklahoma State University and Colorado School of Mines, and many others.

Online degrees are more and more accepted in the workplace.

I am in the same boat! My daughter is 4 months old and I'm going to go back to school this fall. I have one semester under my belt - I went while I was pregnant and right after I had the baby. I do not have anyone to watch her so I will be taking online classes. I'm going to try for full time, but if it's too hard, drop down to part time. I dont have to work (my husband does) so I'm trying to get my degree out of the way. She will be about 6 months by the time I go back so I'm hoping she can entertain herself a little more by then while I have to do my work. She be using the playpen and jumparoo while I study. I guess it depends on how old your baby is as to how much time you can have to do your studies. I know they say for online classes you should plan on needing about 5 hours a week per class. Of course, it can be more or less depending on the type of class and how easy it comes to you. I'm a little concerned because I don't know how it will be, but there is always the option to drop some classes if it gets too rough! She's on a pretty normal sleeping schedule now so that part of it will be easy, I'm just hopin she can entertain herself more in the future! That's about the best answer I can give right now! Good luck!!

I cannot say for sure, but have heard that they aren't very good. I suggest you go to a nearby college and see what they have available on line. Many do offer courses, but you may need to take a few night classes and or Saturday classes. Good luck.

Some are scams.

If you go with one that is accredited, it should be ok, like university of phoenix.
