I have done the 1st year cash flow spreadsheet fine, but on the 2nd year what do I put for the capital? Do I put the closing balance for the previous year?

Or do I put that under sales revenue??

E.g.

Cash In (Income)

Capital: ??
Loan Capital: 0
Sales Revenue: ??

When you get to the end of the first column, you have an amount that is labeled something like "ending cash balance".

Let's pretend that cell is cell B49

Now, what you want to do is go to the very top of the spreadsheet and have a row labeled "Beginning balance", which for year one is probably zero. Let's pretend that's Row 2.

For year two, it's the same as the ending balance of year one, so cell C2 will be =B49
