first off would extending your life span extend your youth or does that mean you would live to be 500 and spend 430 of those years as a crusty old person...or if you lived 500 years would you be an old man for the last 100?...the last 50?...how long would you spend as a decrepid old man laying in a bed covered in sores and wanting life to be over with...

in a perfect situation i would say i want to live 1000 years and spend only the last ten as a senior citizen...

If I could live a normal life, until a (based on the now) standard death time, and then suspend myself to watch the rest of history unfold without participating... I would.

well...i don't want to die too old...so i would never want to extend my lifespan.

old age is very difficult and cruel.
