Because they have so little to believe in.

Interesting question.

I believe that those without faith cannot understand what faith is. They live in a world where there must be logic and order. In their world, if they cannot see it or touch it, then it cannot exist.

To me, this is an excellent example of being "narrow minded." They dare not to even dream!

Maybe because this country began because whites trekked here and tried to convert the Natives into Christianity, and if they didn't agree, the whites would use force. Also, all of the chaos that occured with the enslavement of blacks was partly due to differences in beliefs also. Non-believers aren't necessary afraid of those who do believe, it's just they remember what happened to those in the past regarding beliefs and culture.

They are not afraid.
They just avoid the ones who think they can change your mind with a good ole hell fire and brimstone speech.
Some peeps with faith have an attitude thats says...i am right and everyone else is wrong.........and they annoyingly refuse to stfu about it.Lol,also...because some act like one simple little thing or person could topple their faith in a split second and everyone is threatening it or out to get it.......
hmmmmmmmm...................
What makes them so sure we are afraid.I was raised to be faithful, my family members are all faithful...i have no arguments with those who are faithful...to each his own.
Why can't the faithful live by that fraise "to each his own"?

I'm not afraid of them.
I get along with everyone - faithful or not.
Wish everyone would just get over themselves and who's right and who's not.
I mean, you won't find out till you're dead.
How are you gonna prove other people wrong?

Why are people with faith so sure that people without are afraid of them?

Because they don't want to hear those with faith cram that faith down their throats........which many times is what happens. Those with faith beleive they are spreading the word, and those with out faith.....just don't want to hear it.

Not so much afraid. But I don't understand it, so it's difficult to talk about and makes me nervous.
But I don't think I want to learn about it, either.

Also, why are people who claim to have faith so judgemental of those they *think* don't have any?

Actually, we are more afraid that some hypocritical butt will try to convert us and tell us we are going to hell because we lack religion.
