Do you really want a hot boyfriend or one that is good to you and that you find attractive?
A big part of the problem with many relationships is that people put too much emphasis on appearance and not enough on the person.
Try looking at the non-physical things you like about yourself and then are these traits you want in a mate or are the compliments of what you want?
