I wil assume that pil is supposed to be oil. The reason you need oil is to lubricrate the metal parts. As they rub together the cause friction which cause heat. If they get too hot they will weld themselves together. The oil lubricates and dissipates the the heat at the same time. Kepping all those parts moving smoothly

probably the most important part of the engine that is lubricated by pil is the crankshaft. The main bearings in most cars are just strips of metal with a thin film of pressurized pil between them and the crankshaft. At a few thousand RPMs, without pil, the bearings will heat up, begin to scratch and score the crankshaft and quickly become shredded.

Moving parts need "lubrication" so that so that parts revolve/move in a film of oil, rather than "metal riding on metal", causing friction. Friction causes heat, so you want to avoid that as much as possible. The "quantity" of oil in an engine is determined to allow the oil time to dissipate some heat before going through all the moving parts again. Basically, the more oil you have available, the better your engine is lubricated. Oil coolers can be installed to cool the oil even more, since cooler oil means better lubrication.

So, keeping the oil level full aids in keeping your engine running longer without wear...putting new oil and filter in periodically also contributes to longer life, since quality of the oil is important too...

If the smoke is coming from the engine compartment, there is not any way that replaced into the mufler. besides, if it replaced into the muffler, the outcomes could be an exceptionally LOUD automobile and not a "little smoke." If the automobile's nevertheless working, it could have been tremendously much something (no longer a tie rod or the cam) yet while there is smoke you're probable leaking some sort of fluid...perchance oil or transmission fluid. Neither could be reliable, yet once you paintings out it is a type of, you may merely save including greater because it leaks out and burns off. If it is fluid from the radiator you're able to desire to get that appeared at suited away. in case you overheat that would desire to be the top of the engine. reliable success.

i hope you mean oil,you want enough oil to do the the job of not only lubricating the parts but also to cool ,as oil circulates thru the engine it gains heat off the parts that are lubricated and brings the heat back thru an oil cooler or back into the oil pan where it is cooled to recirculate to pick up more heat and on and on.....so while oil is in the block there is oil in the pan cooling down for its turn to go thru the system

Oil has three purposes. Cleans, cools and lubricates. With the great amount of stress on certain bearings, the last thing you want is for your oil pump to go dry around a corner when you don't have enough oil in it to cover inertia.

I assume you mean oil. Yes, it has a lot of moving parts. Because if there isn't enough, all those parts would have no lubrication and soon you would have stationary parts.
