It depends on your tastes and on how old is a movie for you to consider it an oldie. I had a kick last weekend when I saw "birth of a nation", which dates back to 1915, L'Âge d'Or, dating from 1930, and Simon of the Desert, from 1976. The three of them are incredible movies. But if by "oldie" you mean something from the nineties, then Reservoir Dogs, or Antonia's Line or Lola rennt could be a good choice. The first one is graphically violent, but very creative and innovative. The second one is a movie with a human touch, like Ámelie, though this one appeared before Ámelie. The third one is very adrenalinic, with is one story of a girl that ends tragically, so she repeats the same story over and over with minor changes, so that the end varies dramatically in each, until she gets the ending she wanted. Of course there are more movies, but these ones come to my mind.

I HIGHLY recommend Jean De Florette and Manon of the Springs:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091288/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091480/
Manon is the 2nd part of Jean de Florette, and you'll definitely want to see it after part 1.
